RedMist Roleplaying
First, click the Get
Started link on the navigation bar above. This is the Getting Started
Guide and will give you a general idea of how RedMist Castle is run.
All the crucial information you need to know will be there.
Channel Rules
Next, you might want to
read our roleplaying rules, all of which can be found if you click on
Rules on the left navigation bar. These
guidelines help keep our game running smoothly.
After you visit these two
links, you should check out the rest of the site for more information
about the world that our roleplaying takes place in. If you have any
questions, do not hesitate to email one of the folks featured on the
Contact Us page.
Website Information
This site was designed with a
high resolution in mind, but it is adaptive and can be viewed
at almost any resolution. We recommend you have the highest
number of colors set as well.
It is
best to have the most current version of Netscape or Internet
Explorer. Versions 4.0 and above will do nicely. This website is
designed for Internet Explorer, so there may be a few graphical
glitches with Netscape.
Make sure your browser's fonts are set to Normal, or Medium, depending on
your browser. Text size is very important for certain section headers (see
"Website Information" above as an example.
This
website is hosted by DellHost. Visit http://www.dellhost.com
for more information about their hosting packages.
Thumbnails
Some sections of this
website contain a multitude of information and require a separate
"index" page for navigation. This index page will contain categorized
listings of any content beneath it: bestiary creatures, journal
entries, and more.
Each entry is designated
with a title and a thumbnail.
Not Available -
"Not available" indicates that the item listed is not yet
available but will be online soon.
Picture N/A -
"Picture Not
Available" means that a picture for the item is not available, yet
the item is still accessible.
Thumbnail -
Content with picture thumbnails are available. The thumbnail is a
small portion of a picture representing the item.
Date - A
dated item is listed by the date it is posted on.
Role Playing Help
RedMist's style of
roleplaying is "structured" free-form, meaning there are no
statistics, dice, or experience points, but there are moderators (Game
Masters) who run plots, quests, and other adventures for your
characters to participate in.
