    Outer Walls

These are the strong walls that protect the castle.  Guards can be seen frequenting the ramparts and battlements, each keeping a close eye on all that approach the castle. The walls are 30 feet tall and are accessible from the courtyard via stairs and ramps. Since the castle's reconstruction, the walls have again been rebuilt after an attack by the Oulcagi, and are now backed by the secrets of dwarven construction.

    The Sword & the Rose
The tavern is the most frequented of all places in RedMist Castle.  When you enter the channel, this is the room you are walking into. A fully stocked bar and kitchen await your every desire. Drinks range from fine wines to a home-brewed ale. Our menu has stews, meats, and all the trimmings.

    Towers

The towers of Csagradeus stand tall and give the guards an almost unlimited view of the surrounding area. Atop each tower connected to the outer walls is a ballista, giving the castle a deadly network of offensive measures. Inside each tower are two levels: one ground floor and one corresponding with the connected walls.

    Stables

Where the horses go, of course. We do not keep many mounts within the castle, so the Stables are mainly for travelers and passersby. Boarding for horses runs from one gold and up, depending on the duration of the stay. Tomas the stable boy is always on duty.

    Courtyard

The spacious inner courtyard of Csagradeus gives access to almost every other area of the castle. It also houses the fountain - a timeless centerpiece of both the castle and Csagrada's history. Traveling caravans usually populate this place, along with traders, refugees, and the occasional troop of guards.

    Blacksmith

The place of all weapons crafted from steel. RedMist's current blacksmith, Angus, has taken over for his brother and can frequently be found hammering away at new swords and armor. Prices for such items may be found on the Currency page, via the Knowledge page. Not all items are in stock at all times, and the average wait for weaponry may be a week to a month. Weapons crafted for the garrison are top priority.

    Traveler's Hospice

If you wish to spend the night at the castle, you can purchase a room for a small fee. Each room is finely furnished with all the comforts of home. Average rooms go for about two silver pieces a night, while the more upscale 'merchant' rooms will run you a gold piece. The Hospice has three floors and can accommodate over one hundred persons. It is accessible via the courtyard and the tavern.

    The Fountain

The three-tier fountain works on recycled rain water, and serves no purpose other than giving the courtyard some character. The fountain has had a long history in Csagrada, however, and many tales tell of its haunted nature. The fountain has been rebuilt numerous times, all to its original specifications.

    Bathhouse

The bathhouse is not unlike one of the Roman-Greco age. There are three large public baths, and four smaller private baths. Warm bathwater is available through a heated storage basin. The bathhouse is a design borrowed from the Brotherhood of Steel, who had a similar facility in their meeting house.

    Storehouses

These storehouses contain much of the castle's bulk supplies, like foodstuffs. The western storehouse (the lower building on the map to the right) also contains stockpiled armor and weaponry for the garrison. The eastern storehouse (the upper building on the map) contains archer supplies like bows and crossbows.

    Barracks
A two-level structure containing training facilities, a mess hall, storage rooms, a separate forge, an armory, and quarters for all members of the RedMist garrison. The barracks can hold over one hundred guards and connects directly with the keep, via the Infirmary.

    Keep
This is the central hub of all RedMist matters.  Inside the Keep is a grand library, a dining hall, the throne-room, the treasury, an armory, various meeting rooms, a kitchen, and much more, all accessible from the Great Room, which is at the center of the Keep. The Keep is heavily guarded at all times by the finest members of the garrison. The East Tower is off-limits to even some of the castle personnel, and cannot be accessed by the public.
